Masala Poori is a spicy variation to the regular plain pooris and taste amazing with any curry, gravy, masala vegetable and pickle. An array of spices are mixed while forming the dough that not only add flavors and but also render a beautiful aroma to these wonderful fluffy pooris.
Unlike the ordinary or plain puris, these masala pooris are slightly thick, crisp and taste great with ginger tea and pickle of choice in breakfast. You can also serve them along with a curry dish and raita for a festive or weekend meal. You might also love to try out Ajwain Puris that taste amazing too!
Masala puris pair very well with all types of curries, but go especially good with 'Potato Curries & Stir Fries' like -
Sua Saag Aloo
Aloo Shimla Mirch Sabzi
Baby Potato Roast
Aloo Chawali Sabzi
Aloo Gobhi Sabzi
These masala puris make a wonderful tea time snack with mango pickle or Rajasthani green chilly pickle.
For a special weekend meal pair these masala puris with aloo channe ki ghughni, kadala curry or Punjabi choley , spinach and sweet corn stir fry (Palak makai subzi). Team with dhaniye ka raita and chaas.
Pack masala puri for your kid’s school with achaari dum aloo. Do not miss to pack sweet sonth chutney in a small leak proof box. Your kid will love this idea for sure!
